Welcome to our first blog post! Okay, let’s get started by mentioning one of our favorite designers, Alexandre Herchcovitch.

The Brazilian native is known for his bold use of color and pattern, and his imaginative collections offer spirited challenges to convention. Herchcovitch’s willingness to trot conceptual designs and native inspiration onto the runway with a healthy disregard for mainstream is always refreshing and eye-opening.

Herchcovitch lets his colors fly this fall in a refined, street inspired collection for men. Perfect for fans of wall-to-wall, all over prints that don't wear jewelry where teeth should be.

The bib patch is a fun panel addition that adds a cool twist to the plaid.

Chunky knits, skinny denim, and tights under dresses are all in for fall, so you better stock up on some boots. You’ll have a ton to choose from with various bells and whistles, but as an everyday city boot we’re betting on these buttery soft Rachel Comey Thief Boots with round toe and mini-wedge heel. Attention green shoppers, here are two new Eco-Tobi brands to add to your list of earth friendly favorites—Doie and Keep. We are proud of our eco collection and fully intend to grow our green assortment. Every season, you can expect to see new eco-conscious brands added to our store. SNEAK PEEK: Doie Fall 2007 (coming any day now)

If you haven’t heard, the hottest (and coolest) earth friendly fabric is bamboo. Doie designer Sara Kirsner takes bamboo jersey and combines it with luxurious silk trim for a flirty collection that you can easily take day to night. The Parson’s grad takes mixed media and shapes it into Asian influenced silhouettes. See more photos in our Sneak Peek section!

SNEAK PEEK: Keep Holiday 2007 (coming February 2008)

Cruelty free, sweatshop free kicks. Keep is a keeper for Eco-Tobi. This shoe line is designed for women, but interestingly enough, the high-tops appear unisex and are often worn by guys in larger sizes. The design aesthetic is quirky collegiate prep meets seaside resort lounging. See more photos in our Sneak Peek section!

It’s not your imagination, owls are everywhere! Get wise, hoot it up, branch out and swoop up these fine feathered knits, prints and charms. Birds aren’t very cute or cuddly, but the owl is different. Wise but approachable, like a koala bear with feathers, the owl is an adorable addition for fall.
