Designer Geren Lockhart got a serendipitous start in the fashion world. After making herself a pair of shorts and a tank, friends started asking for their own, and as word spread, even a few celebrities were making requests. Geren Ford was born soon after. Lockhart’s 12 years in advertising gave way to her penchant for cutting low-key pieces that were luxurious yet straightforward.
