The best way to subsist on playing music for a living? Aside from becoming a sellout rock star, we think Morphine Generation’s Erik Hart had the right idea when in the summer of 2003 he decided to design clothes to fund his musical aspirations—he’s a member of the band Suicide Club. With the help of director and fashion photographer Elliot Hans, Hart discovered a knack for creating the kind of clothing all the cool kids want to be wearing.
Morphine Generation delivers handmade, standout pieces that are versatile and fit right in with the current cohort’s tendency toward elevated casual wear. In this case, we think “morphine” represents a laid-back attitude that’s also stylishly euphoric. So we can all keep on rocking.
