South African native Michael Cohen moved to Los Angeles and launched his boxy unisex T-shirt line in 1986. After meeting his future wife Suzanne Lerner, together they created what we know and love as Michael Stars today. This evolution includes its signature “Shine” fabric, softly sexy underthings, and plush cashmere pieces. But the simple yet elegant tees are what we adore the most.
