With origins selling authentic imported workwear out of a store in SoHo, the three founders of Operations were inspired to start their own line by the stylish functionality of work uniforms they saw while traveling through Europe. The shapes of the garments may remain the same but the fabrics have changed— their brand statement details: “Raw wools gave way to Italian tweeds, combat fatigues became blazers and blouses, starched cottons were replaced with washed linen.”
Our favorite thing about this line aside from the tailoring is unexpected pops of color which provide a special touch without veering into in-your-face territory. Operations is for a guy who wants to stand out yet still look polished, and while the designs may be humble in origin these pieces are fit for a king!
