The Polish designer discovered her penchant for design when being faced with limited fashionable options in communist Poland. She began sewing and knitting her own clothing as a young girl and eventually moved to New York in the early ‘90s. There she launched her eponymous line of jewelry, knits and handbags. Iwona Ludyga Design’s jewelry is subtly playful and contemporary but with classic-in-the-making allure.
