Araks Yeramyan offers a full collection of light and feminine ready-to-wear but she made her mark designing intimates. After graduating from Parsons, Araks worked for J. Crew and Marc Jacobs before launching Araks in 2000. The aesthetic is clean and feminine, comfortable and durable with a focus on luxe fabrics that communicate a tactile sensuality.
Araks believes "Our skin responds to a sense of care that the finest of materials, the most thoughtful of design can provide," and that "dressing begins with the touch, the pleasure and comfort of that first layer against the skin."
