We’re mad for mod-inspired designs, so it’s no surprise that Karta has us grinning like the Cheshire Cat. Los Angeles-based designer Judi Lambert combines clean lines with chunky embellishment for a vintage-meets-modern-glamour mood. Karta’s swingy frocks and blouses are constructed of chalfis polyester, allowing movement while maintaining structure for a retro feel that’s much easier to wear than thrift shop polyester. Tonal appliqués and playful colors ensure standout style. We can even leave the white go-go boots behind.
