From Treana Peake, entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder of the label Obakki comes clothing utterly wearable and polished without seeming stuffy. A big name in Canada (also thanks to her husband’s profession, lead guitarist of band Nickelback) Obakki’s retail space in Vancouver is adjacent to their manufacturing facilities, something practically unheard of outside of haute couture. Offerings from the line are beautifully constructed from luxury fabrics, though they retain an edge that wouldn’t look out of place worn onstage.
