Lots of designer talent has been coming out of the Bay Area in the last few years, and one of our favorite hometown heroes is Alexander Wang! CFDA Award winner in 2008 with his own label growing increasingly popular each year, Wang is bringing sexy grunge back with his posse of New York it-girls such as Erin Wasson and Alice Dellal.
His newest venture is a line of T-shirts and T-shirt dresses—unbelievably seductive in featherweight rayon and supima blends the simple, sheer shapes are meant for layering or showing some skin. The lowered armholes and stretched out necklines convey a laid-back yet seductive quality we love, similar to the feel of a favorite vintage T-shirt you just can’t stop wearing.
