A sane approach to fashion does not depend on staid tradition. Society for Rational Dress teaches us that forward is the smartest direction to take. Corinne Grassini founded the Los Angeles label in 2005, quietly achieving a cult following in the indie fashion realm. Incorporating handbag-like hardware and touches of leather, slinky dresses and fluid tops are given a bit of weight. The ultimate result is covet-worthy pieces that are a little bit tough and definitely sexy. We think that combination is quite clever—even rational.
